"What we are experiencing is nothing new: a harmful incident sheds light on a police department’s culture, more victims step forward with their experiences, a new leader (often female and/or POC) is appointed, promises of training/reform are made, and the status quo is largely held intact."
Oct 23rd, 2020 - In response to the sexual assault allegations of Mayor Pete Muldoon, or more so, the political weaponization of the allegations from all sides, rather than a victim centered response. We also dive into a lesser known incident where our law enforcement acted above the law to serve its' political interests.
We are ordinary people seeking criminal, racial, and social justice in Teton County. In the USA’s most economically unequal county, we challenge overinvestment in law enforcement and fight for restorative community services in the pursuit of collective liberation.
